In response to increasing regulatory demands and rising health care costs, Sanford Jackson Medical Center developed an Occupational Health Program. Occupational Health exists to serve the occupational health and wellness needs of area businesses.Some of the services provided are:
- Employee Treatment Program (Workers Compensation Case Management)
- On-site Nursing Services
- Pre-Employment Nursing Health Assessment
- Hearing Conservation Program
- Respirator Protection Services (Fit testing, Baseline Pulmonary Function Tests)
- Immunization Services (Influenza, Tetanus, Hepatitis B, Tuberculosis, etc.)
- Wellness Programs/Screening
- Educational Workshops/Programs (CPR/First Aid, Back Care, Nutrition, etc.)
