Values and Mission
Our Mission:
Dedicated to the Work of HealingOur standards of behavior are characterized by RESPECT.
R: Respect is the Basis of Good Human Relationships- We form our relationships with those we serve out of a basic respect for others.
- Respect for people means listening to them thoroughly and hearing their point of view and perspective.
- Regardless of ability to express oneself or age or cultural background, every person has a right to the same respectful attention to their needs.
- Respect is demonstrated through compassionate relationships.
- Safety is part of our culture.
- Safety comes first for us as we try to eliminate the risks in caring for the sick.
- Attention to safety creates processional excellence.
P: Privacy is Expected
- Our relationship with those we serve is a private one; and all the information generated from these encounters is treated as private information.
E: Educate and Inform
- Part of caring for the sick is to keep them and their loved ones informed about their conditions and their treatment.
- Communication with those we serve and the rest of the medical team is our job to complete.
- We have not communicated until everyone understands.
- Our time as caregivers is not more important than those we serve. The time that a patient and family spends in obtaining health care advice and treatment will be considered with respect.
- Be respectful of each other's time and devote time to developing relationships.
